Anything Goes Happy Hour – Episode #12

This week, the official winners of the “Rise Up for Autism Canada Online Contest,” Kaitlin Allen and Eddie Garcia of the multi-genre eclectic duo, Plastic Culture will join us for an interview and some musical performance videos, followed by Rick Weber, who is billed as “Your Laguna Tenor,” to talk with us and entertain us with some video performances of his remarkable voice you just have to hear to believe. Next up, high-energy action photographer Rick Graves will join us and share ideas and some of his work. Look for a few choice COVID-19 videos to round out our happy hour-and-a-half.
Plastic Culture

Plastic Culture

Plastic Culture is a dynamic duo based out of Orange County, California. Formed in 2012, founding member and lead vocalist Kaitlin Allen, and lead guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Eddie Garcia have made it their mission to bring back the heart and soul of rock n’ roll with their unique method of blending rock, psychedelic, reggae, and funk. Plastic Culture will surely reach a wide variety of audiences.

In early 2017, Plastic Culture worked on a special demo with a start up label in Los Angeles, California. Fast forward to 2019, Plastic Culture has professionally re-recorded their self tilted EP that was engineered by multi-platinum record producer Frank Gryner.

Plastic Culture now has an international distribution and marketing deal with The AMG Corp and Sony Music.

Rick Weber, Laguna Tenor

Rick Weber, Laguna Tenor

Rick Weber is your LAGUNA TENOR, a classically-trained vocalist, with experience performing in over 50 musicals, operas, weddings, and other special events. Inspired by the world’s most beloved tenors — Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Franco Corelli, Mario Lanza, and more — Rick sings in Italian, Spanish, German, Latin, and English. His repertoire includes arias from renowned operas, neapolitan classics, and musical standards. Rick was a finalist in the 2018 Laguna Voice competition.

Rick lives in Southern California with his wife Amber, son Mateo (12), and daughter Aiyana (10). Your Laguna Tenor is available for local events throughout Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, as well as Las Vegas, Arizona, and destinations worldwide.

Rick Graves - Photographer

Rick Graves, Photographer

Rick is recognized industry-wide as an authority in capturing the essence of high-energy action imagery, having earned a coveted client list including Samsung, Porsche, Jaguar, Cadillac, Honda, Acura, Toyota, Mazda, Subaru and Goodyear. As a natural progression, Rick effectively turned his passion for action photography to film and video. He wrote, shot, and directed a promotional short for Triumph Motorcycles N.A. that has generated over 12 million YouTube views. In his quest to invent new ways to capture images of speed, Rick developed a finish line camera system giving him the ability to capture images in motion so extraordinary that Auto Week and Wired Magazine featured his work. A graduate of the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, Rick’s long format images are on exhibit at the Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach, California .
